Physics and Engineering for Girls is an outreach program for elementary aged girls aimed at closing this gender gap. 

 

It works by bringing engaging guest speakers and weekly after school lessons to elementary schools, where girls explore topics ranging from bridge construction to sound waves under the guidance of high school mentors.
